The teaching methodology we have adopted in this academy is very unique, often intuitive, and student-oriented. We pay individual attention to all the students and provide them support all the time.
The faculties in this academy are highly experienced and resourceful. Many of them have to their credit several textbooks and reference books that are used all over Nepal.
Apart from regular teaching-learning sessions, we also encourage students to actively participate in extracurricular and co-curricular activities.
Both the students and the teachers are at liberty to use their ingenuity in designing experiments, rather than relying only on the "business-as-usual" experiments/practicals, and this is where we differ from other campuses
For dissertation laboratory work, the campus remains open for 24 hours. We have sophisticated instruments for carrying out analytical work. We also have electronic library that contains more than 3000 reputed books in Food Technology, Food Processing, Food preservation and Nutrition.
Although not given in the course, we give orientations/training to students on project- and report writing, use of statistical software (e.g., Genstat, Design Expert, IBM SPSS, etc.) referencing software (e.g., EndNoteX) and drawing software (e.g., Macromedia flash, ChemDraw, Google Sketchup, etc.).
We regularly arrange trips/visits to food and dairy processing industries and arrange for real life processing experience so that our students can develop hands-on skill.
